Who we are
Nightfall is an iOS app published by flux & form ("we," "us"). This policy explains how the app handles information. It applies to the Nightfall app and this website.
Information we collect
None. Nightfall does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not know who you are.
The app stores your preferences — audio and haptic toggles, your chosen narrator voice, whether you've completed onboarding, and which expansions you own — in standard iOS on-device storage (UserDefaults). This information never leaves your device and is not visible to us.
No tracking or analytics
Nightfall contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking technologies. We do not use cookies, device identifiers, or any service that profiles you across apps or websites. As declared in the app's App Store privacy details, no data is collected and no data is used to track you.
Purchases
Expansions such as the Full Moon Edition are sold as in-app purchases handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Your payment is processed by Apple — we never see or receive your payment details. The app only learns whether a purchase entitlement is active on your device.
Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Nightfall schedules local notifications on your device to sound the discussion-timer bell when your screen is locked. These are generated on your device — nothing is sent to or through our servers, and we operate no servers that receive your data.
Children's privacy
Nightfall does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is intended for a general audience in line with its App Store age rating.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles information, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Because the app collects nothing today, any future change that involved data collection would be described here before it took effect.
